apparently there are a lot of people who like to shoot on the forum. i think it was FZRPaul who said he wanted to post some pics so heres the spot! i dont think i have any pictures of my cannons but ill take some in a few here.
If anybody shoots competitively please post and share you experience. i used to work at the trap/skeet range in san diego but it was recently closed by the EPA. now i shoot steel plate and IDPA matches and its the only other thing that i find remotely close to the fun i have on the fizzmeister. -------------------- Joe.

About 10 years ago I used to shoot bowling pin and IDPA matches with local clubs. That really was a lot of fun. I started with a GP-100 Ruger, went to S&W revolvers, then Kimber 1911s. I guess I'm old school when it comes to guns too, but I do carry a Glock for work.
I was handloading, then. I couldn't afford the ammo, now. -------------------- 771Doug's website

I was waitin for this thread. Girlfriend actually just purchased us tickets today for a gun raffle at a local club, got my fingers crossed.
![]() Bad pic, but its the Ruger LCR .38 cal. Conceals nicely and Im fairly accurate at 15 yards but I need a lot more practice. Got some nasty Hornady defense rounds in there. Like I said in the other thread I need to pick up a semi-auto next, probably a 9mm. Dont think my Marlin .22 is worth posting a pic of. If I can find the picture I took when I had all 5 I will throw it up sometime. Shooting definitely ranks up there with riding, just need to get a lot better at it. |

I prefer the long range stuff. I play hockey with a former gunny sarge and he told me this was the hot setup for guys in Iraq. Typical Bushmaster lower but the upper is a Talon Arms 1/8 twist barrel. He said it is good for 1000+ yards. I take it to my mother in laws in WV but about 500 is all that I have shot with it. Spot on baby!

For closer range, I figure if it was good enough for Clint then it's OK by me.

I love that G3. I went to a friend of mine's farm and he had a guy show up that had a full auto G3. He was totally cool. Let me shoot a couple of clips full auto with it. I felt guilty because the ammo had to cost about $40 per clip. He didn't care..he said shoot away! -------------------- |
