I have a 93 FZR600 and my bike will only start if I jump it with a car. And when I disconnect the jumper cables from the car it dies after a few seconds. When I hook it up to a battery charger for awhile and try to charge it, it cranks a few times then the battery is too low to crank it anymore. I tried charging it with a 2A charger but as soon as I connect it to the battery it says full charge on the charger? I've only charged it for about 5 hours on 2A so should I do longer? Is my battery dead or something else?

whats the water level in your battery? you can call some auto parts stores and ask them if they can load test battery's and load test the battery, but it sounds like you have a charging/charging issue, id start by cleaning the terminals and all your grounds then run the bike off a good battery like a car battery and check your stator for output then output from the regulator and you should find your problem in there if not we will walk you through finding it

Do like Racerd sez and have the battery load tested or buy a hydrometer and test the battery's specific gravity or both. I even think a place like Wally World could load test your battery gratious. Rule out the easy simple things first.

if you can stick a voltmeter across it. if its any less than 11.7 volts replace it because its done. you should have about about 12.6 volts to start it and about 14.5 (i think) when running.might be worth checking your voltage output when the bikes running too. my voltage regulator went a while back and cooked the battery. if the voltage is too high when running your battery will cook. so if you replace the battery check that before you burn the new one out.

that dosent mean its dead, battery's can discharge or appear to be discharged due to temperature or faulty wiring. usually when they drop real fast something is drawing current. to eliminate current craw disconnect the battery charge it in a warm environment and fully charge it at 1/10th the amp hour and then once its fully charged disconnect and monitor voltage if its steady 12+ the battery is good and the problem is in the wiring or components
