ey all,
just purchased an FZR 250, has had a full service including the following,
new brake pads front and back,
new chain and both sprockets,
4 carbies have been reconditioned as the bike was sitting for 3 years in a shed,
and a couple of other small things,

I have noticed with my fzr that they take a little while to warm up and doesnt idle properly until the engine is warm,
is this a common problem or flaw with these particular bikes?

also, i have looked high and low for a wiring diagram for the indicators as i have fused mine.
any help you guys can give me would be greatly apreciated.

cheers,
will

Hey there Spittle,

Make sure to go over to the Nebwie section and introduce yourself (and put up a pic of the bike if you have one).

After that, go ahead and start a new thread so we can help get your problem sorted out. I have an idea of what one of the problems may be but I'll wait until you start a new thread to post up.

Brandon

if you give me more info on the bike like the year or worst case pm me the vin or primary id and i might be able to get you a copy of the factory service manual, as far as the idle issue if the carbs are not sync'd they will have a erratic idle and get a bit better when warm
